Meet Calvin: Your Personal Nature Sniffer & Occasional Zoomie EnthusiastCalvin is a distinguished gentleman with a refined palate, a love of the great outdoors, and absolutely zero interest in your tennis balls. His love language? Quality time—specifically, time spent sniffing every square inch of a play yard like it`s his job (because, frankly, he takes it very seriously).Bring this guy outside and watch him transform into a tail-wagging, nose-to-ground adventurer. He’ll sniff, he’ll pee on everything (we mean everything), and when he’s satisfied, he’ll trot over to you with a proud little prance that says, “Did you see that? I sniffed the whole yard.”Fetch? Nah. Toys? Meh. Grass? Delicious. Treats? He’s a bit of a connoisseur, but offer him a Bully Stick or some Whole Paws chicken jerky and you’ll win his heart. He’ll even throw in a 45-second zoomie performance if the vibe is right.Calvin knows how to sit like a pro and takes treats with the gentleness of a prince. He’s working on “down,” and let’s just say—progress is being made (with the right snack, of course). His favorite things in the world are rolling around in the grass and roaming around a fenced backyard, oh, and couch snuggles. He loves to snuggle! He also likes to ride in the car and go on walks. Really, Calvin is down for anything fun that involves hanging out with some humans – one exception, he will NOT chase balls or anything you throw but he will happily chase you around the yard for a minute then do his zoomies. He likes Kongs, is learning about puzzle toys and really seems to enjoy them, and he likes fuzzy plush toys to carry around. Calvin is well mannered and doesn’t jump when meeting new people, but he will lick your face if you sit or get down to his level and once again, watch out for that wagging tail! He is also good in a crate once you can lure him in – he is picky on treats, but meat-based dog treats will work! He is potty trained and walks well on a leash with a front-clip harness.
