My story

Meet Jane Dog! Jane Dog is incredibly sweet, full of energy, and clearly eager to bond with her people. She’s playful, smart, and picks things up quickly, she learned “sit” and “stay” in just a few tries and figured out puzzle toys right away. She loves being around people and other dogs, and enjoys active play. While she’s sometimes jumpy around loud noises or busy streets, she warms up fast and seems to trust deeply once she feels safe. She may have experienced some rough handling in the past, as she can cower if a command is too firm, but she remains trusting and responsive to gentle guidance. Jane Dog waits her turn patiently and doesn’t try to steal food or treats. She’s also respectful with toys, she enjoyed a frozen bone and let me take it away without any issues once she was done. Jane didn’t seem to receive much leash training early on and needs some training in this area.  Jane Dog is bright, affectionate, and highly trainable. She really wants to connect with her person and thrives on positive attention. She’s active and would be a great fit for someone who enjoys running, hiking, or staying on the move. While shy at first, once she’s comfortable she’s playful, loving, and curious. She’s fully potty trained, enjoys cuddling, and responds well to structure, even if she tries to test it a little (always in a goofy, endearing way). Jane will be vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
