My story

Meet ShiloThis one and a half year old male Pit Bull Terrier mix is blue, white and brown in color and weighs 55 pounds. Shilo may be new to the shelter, but he’s already made a lasting impression. This sweet boy was just impounded last week, but the moment he walked into the shelter for his vaccinations, he won hearts instantly. Calm, kind, and incredibly gentle, Shilo took a treat with the softest touch—and then casually hopped into the dispatch chair like he owned the place! The chair spun, but he just leaned back, relaxed as ever. He’s the kind of dog who makes you stop what you’re doing just to soak in his quiet affection. After his shots he stayed in the office for a little while and was seen resting his head on the lap of the intake person as if to say “thank you”. This “chill” canine deserves a home where he can share all the gentle loyalty and sweetness he has to offer. Don’t make Shilo wait any longer for his new “furever” home.
