Romeo

My story

Romeo is a 7 yr-old 17 pound terrier mix (possibly some Lancashire heeler) that was brought to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 6/10 as a stray. He’s bursting with energy. When I had him out in the yard he was in constant motion. He did do his business in the yard. I thought when I brought him into the meet and greet room he might settle down, but I was wrong. He had to explore that room also. He doesn’t sit for treats but dances for them. He’s highly motivated by treats so he’s frequently doing his little dance. He’s extremely happy, friendly, lively, alert, and loving. He’s also somewhat goofy. He’s a determined little guy that knows where he’s going on a walk and will TAKE YOU there. He does come to you for loving and petting. He wants to be an inside dog to share family time. And what an adorable smile!
