Meet Licorice – The Sweetest Treat Around 🍬🐾 💕 Gentle • Snuggly • Easygoing If you're looking for a low-maintenance cuddle buddy with a heart full of love, Licorice is your girl! This sweetheart is as easygoing as they come and would love nothing more than to be your couch companion and walking partner. Licorice is calm and well-behaved from the start—she's easy in and out of the kennel, hops into the car with no fuss, and rides quietly, just laying down and relaxing. She walks beautifully on leash (fast-paced but no pulling!) and has lovely manners wherever she goes. At home, she’s affectionate and chill. She spends most of the day happily snuggled on the couch, soaking up love. She's treat-motivated, knows "sit," and takes snacks gently like a perfect lady. She’s not big on toys or fetch—she’d rather explore the yard with her nose or lounge by your side. As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
