My story

Scout is a 1 year Golden Retriever mix who weighs around 50 lbs. This beautiful, friendly boy is hoping to find his forever family soon who will love him as much as he loves back, which is a lot! Happy, friendly, very social, Scout is the perfect companion for any family. He is recovering from a six-week stint with a front leg cast (right front) and is doing fantastically well. Scout experienced a bone fracture after getting his leg caught in an iron fence. The leg is now healing nicely, and Scout’s vet says he is ready to live the normal, playful life of a young golden retriever fella. Good with other dogs and people of all ages, Scout will make a terrific furry addition to some lucky family. His foster family reports that he has been fine with their cats, especially after proper introduction and supervision until everyone adjusted to each other.
