Just 8 months old and 30 pounds of pure joy, she somehow still loves life — despite the rough hand she’s been dealt.    She was found on 5/22/2025, frightened and skeletal, darting away from help. But the moment the neighborhood kids came into view, Skye lit up. Her tail wagged, her confidence bloomed, and she let herself be leashed for the very first time.   Now living in a foster home (with limited freedom due to a reactive resident dog), Skye spends her days soaking up every moment she gets to run, play, and love. She adores kids, charms other dogs into goofy play sessions, and is especially gentle and respectful with cats — she’ll happily back off if a feline friend needs space.   Sweet, submissive, and always wagging, Skye is crate-trained, house-trained, and has her basics down pat. She’s scheduled for her spay and heartworm testing soon, and she’s up-to-date on vaccines.   If you’re looking for a young pup who’s already a gentle soul — one who knows how to win hearts and just wants to be part of a family — Skye is your girl.    Email for more info: kimberly.erdossy25@gmail.com   To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application ( www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption ) for caretakers to review.
