My story

    Meet Tommie Truffles! 9–12 Months • ~45 lbs • Floofy, fun, and full of life My name is Tommie Truffles, and I’m really good about coming when you call me; although I might pause for a moment because “Tommie Truffles” sounds a little like “trouble,” and I definitely don’t want to be in any. But once I realize you’re calling me, I’ll come running! Tommie Truffles is about one year old any weigh around 50 pounds, after putting on some much-needed weight.   After a rough start , he is now  healthy, clean,  fluffy, and thriving in my foster home. He is discovering all the joys of being a young pup for the very first time. Tommie Truffles is playful, energetic, and smart—a curious boy who loves sticks, stones, pine cones… and attention! He lights up around people and greets everyone with a wagging tail. He knows “sit” and is working on his manners—he’s still got a little puppy energy and sometimes jumps up when excited, so a home without small kids is best. This guy is a fast learner, although with a stubborn streak, but hey, that just adds to his charm. He’s great on leash, rides well in the car, and snoozes peacefully at his foster mom’s office during the day. At night, he sleeps in a crate—but dreams of graduating to your bed once he’s earned his house manners badge! Tommie could use a few more “groceries” (he’s working on gaining some weight), but he’s healthy, happy, and ready to find his forever home.
