My story

Meet Bambi, the sweetest little low-rider around! This 3-year-old Pittie girl weighs in at 53 pounds of pure love and is equal parts couch potato and cuddle queen. Bambi can be a tad shy when she first meets you, but it doesn’t take long before she’s rolling over for belly rubs and soaking up all the affection she can get. Attention is her love language, and kisses are her favorite currency. She’s got a soft spot for toys—she’ll zoom around with them like a goofball—but she’s never destructive. She also enjoys a good chew bone and knows how to treat her beds and toys with care. At her core, Bambi is a quiet, easygoing girl who just wants to be near her people (preferably on a soft couch, thank you very much). She’s reportedly good with other dogs, and when she met some kittens in a crate, she was curious but quickly decided they were the boss after they hissed at her—so she respectfully backed off. Everyone who meets her falls in love. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just a cozy home, a loving family, and maybe a few extra snuggles. Her minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
