My story

DIAMOND IN THE RUFF: Adorable, goody, fun loving Callie is ready for a home who will treat her like the princess she is! She was recently surrendered to ARF after her owners could no longer care for her. Upon arrival, our medical team determined that she has Degenerative Mitral Valve Disease. It is currently stage B2, which means she is asymptomatic. This sounds much scarier than it is! This is a manageable condition and has responded well to medication. This doesn’t stop Callie from bringing a smile to everyone’s face. She instantly lights up a room and loves all the attention she can get. Callie would not mind having a canine sibling but would do best in a home without cats. If you think you can show this girl some love and give her the life she deserves, please don’t hesitate to reach out to ARF’s Adoptions Team! CALLIE’S NEEDS: Twice Daily Medication * Biannual Echocardiograms * Not Cat Friendly * Children 5 + * Needs Continued Training * Needs Regular Physical and Mental Enrichment *

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Callie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
