My story

Cas is a handsome 1-year-old white and brown tabby with a shy and sensitive nature. When he first arrived, he spent much of his time hiding in bed as he adjusted to new surroundings. Cas is slowly opening up—while he may hiss if approached too quickly, he quickly settles and reaches out to sniff your hand. He’s beginning to enjoy gentle pets, especially cheek rubs, though he can still get overstimulated, so it’s important to go slow and watch his body language. Cas would do best as the only pet in a calm, quiet home, and he’d likely thrive with respectful, patient children who understand his need for gentle care. If you’re looking for a patient companion who will reward you with trust and affection in time, Cas might be the perfect match.
