My story

Introducing Tilton, a sweet and goofy 1-year-old bully eager to find his forever home! This lovable boy has quite a story—he was rescued from a street where he was found chained to a sign with an injured leg. Despite his circumstances, he greeted our Officer with a smile and a wagging tail, showcasing his strong spirit.After receiving X-rays, it was determined that his right hind leg needed to be amputated due to a severe fracture. However, this hasn’t dampened his spirits! This amazing guy is now learning how to navigate life with three legs and is healing beautifully. Weighing in at 58lbs, he truly embodies the definition of gentle. He takes treats with care, walks nicely on a leash, and greets everyone with kindness.Tilton loves meeting new friends, both human and canine. When he met another dog at the shelter, he enthusiastically initiated play with a wagging tail, showcasing his friendly nature. He also keeps his kennel clean and tidy.Tilton already seems wise beyond his years, and his friendly manners will warm your heart.
