My story

Jello is currently in a foster home with a return date of 8/27- if you would like to meet him before then, please reach out to PRAS-FOSTER!NNVA.GOV.Jello went on an ExPAWdition! Let`s read all about it:`Jello is THE.REAL.DEAL. Jello and I enjoyed a few hours last week at Sandy Bottom Park in Hampton. He`s such an amazing pup. He hopped right into my SUV without hesitation, prepared for our morning`s adventures just a few miles away. Jello was completely chill during the entire ride to the Park. Jello eagerly hopped out when we arrived and was excited to get down to the business of our trail walk. Although very excited to be out and about, Jello didn`t pull on the leash as he explored the twists and turns of the trails. As you can see, Jello is quite cooperative and photogenic when afforded the opportunity. We walked around the lake and took a few snack/water breaks along the way. Always the gentleman, Jello gingerly took snacks from my hand...no concern of losing any fingers. He greeted others walking the trail without any raucous fanfare or barking, his simple nod did the trick. After we finished our hike and exploring, Jello and I took a detour to Chick-Fil-A to munch on some tasty treats. Again, Jello carefully took those chicken pieces from my fingers and slurped down the pup-cup ice-cream. As you can see, Jello is a ROCK.STAR. What`s not to love about this tan, furry wonder? He`s gentle, eager to please, and up for adventure. Most importantly, he`s a good friend who likes listening and spending time with his hoomins. Jello is available for foster and adoption...his adoption is sponsored (ask staff for details)...so come on down to the Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter in Newport News to meet this guy, before somebody else beats you to it. Jello so much deserves a forever home and family...you can make it happen.`Name: JelloBreed: Boxer MixAge: 3 yearsBackground: Surrendered due to owner’s inability to properly houseTemperament: Friendly and social; has experience living with other petsCompatibility: Would need to meet any potential dog siblings before adoption to ensure a good fitIdeal Home: Active household with space to play and a family that understands the Boxer mix energy and needsAdditional Notes: Jello is looking for a loving home where he can thrive and be part of the family. His past experience with other pets suggests he can adapt well with proper introductions.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jello (IN FOSTER), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
