Meet Tex – A Spirited Senior with a Big Heart Tex may be 10 years old, but don’t let that number fool you—this handsome brown tabby has the energy and enthusiasm of a much younger cat. Always on the go and full of personality, Tex is a bold, friendly guy who thrives on human companionship. He’ll follow you from room to room, chirping and chatting, and he’s always up for some quality lap time or a good play session. Tex has a few health quirks, including some chronic diarrhea, but he’s a tidy gentleman who always uses his litter box. He takes a couple of simple medications that help keep things manageable. We’re happy to walk you through his routine—it’s easy and well worth the love you’ll get in return. Tex is available for adoption or long-term foster, and for a local foster home, we’re happy to cover his vet expenses. He needs to be the only cat in the home, as he tends to be a bit of a bossy boots with his fellow felines, but he has lived peacefully with dogs and could be a good match for a dog-savvy household.
