My story

Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Cece and I had 6 beautiful puppies, Toby Mac, Lauren, Tasha, Ann, Hope and Faith, that all called me Mama! My puppies were born in a local shelter but fortunately, this great organization called AARF pulled us from the animal shelter before my babies could even open their eyes! My puppies are so sweet and cute and I am such a proud mom! But let me get back to me and tell you a little about me! I don't particularly like cats but people and other dogs are awesome. I weigh around 40 pounds. They say I am between 3 to 4 years old. I limp but I am not in pain. The doctors think that at one point I may have been hit by a car, broke my right hind leg and it just didn't heal right. But that doesn't stop me from chasing a tennis ball before eventually settling down and doing a little chewing on it. It also doesn't stop me from jumping a three-foot fence! My foster mom thinks I'm AMAZING! I am housebroken, which the humans seem to feel is very important. I was an amazing mom and have so much love to give. I gave that love to my pups and now am ready to share it with my furever family! Are you willing to make me a part of your loving family? Are you willing to see and tell me how AMAZING I am? If so, I would love to have you come meet me! Come meet our adoptable dogs on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the backyard at the AARF house (302 Thurston St, W-S). Remember that we do not adopt more than a 45-minute radius from our facility in Winston Salem.
