My story

Meet Ebi (Shrimp in Japanese!). Ebi is an exotic shorthair, blue tabby. She is 9 years old. While we realize that a lot of people are going to be interested in adopting her because she is just so darn cute, please read carefully what her needs are. Ebi can get anxious. She is currently living in a home with a new baby and a toddler and she is NOT happy! We are looking for a quiet home for her. She’s OK with another cat. No kids. And possibly a couple, or family with older kids that doesn’t entertain a lot. When just with her mom and dad, she is sweet and loving and playful… she loves making biscuits! Ebi is a normal, healthy, loving kitty. We are looking for someone to love her and make her life easier, that's all. This sweet girl is currently on medication called fluoxetine. It is not expensive. And she be able to be weaned off of it once she is settled into a new, quiet, loving home. If you have an interest in Ebi, please contact Jake’s Place at 415-548-0824. We can certainly give you more information. Ebi is considered a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cats.
