My story

Meet Brinston the Beagle! He was surrendered to the shelter on 6/11 because his owner became ill and could no longer care for Brinston. His former owner did note that Brinston is house-trained and good with kids, cats, and other dogs! The volunteers describe Brinston as a real gem of a dog. He is super friendly and knows several commands including sit, lay down, and stay. Brinston is 5 years old and weighs 20 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been neutered, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be microchipped upon adoption. Brinston is waiting patiently in run 309; his ID # is 10804. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
