My story

Looking for a loyal companion who’s equal parts goofy and loving? Look no further than Stevie, an 85 lb., 2-year-old Great Dane/Poodle mix with a heart as big as her paws!  House & Crate Trained  Spayed (with stomach tack)  Dog Friendly (comfortable with dogs 50–105 lbs)  Kid Friendly (best with older children due to her size and playful energy)  Great in the Car  Knows Basic Commands (sit, come, down) Stevie is a beautiful, affectionate girl who thrives on cuddles and companionship. She’s done well with a variety of dogs in her foster home and would likely thrive in a multi-dog household, especially with a confident, balanced pack. While she hasn’t met cats, she hasn’t shown any prey drive in her current environment. She’s still working on her leash skills, but she’s eager to please and not a heavy puller. Stevie does well when left alone and enjoys being part of the family—whether it’s chilling on the couch or romping around the yard. Because of her playful, jumpy energy, older children (8+) would be the best fit for her new home. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
