My story

NAME:OllieSTATS:Male, Australian Terrier/Papillon mix, 2 ish years old , 10.5 lbs.TEMPERAMENT:Friendly.Active (puppy energy).Playful, but not overly so.SKILLSDoing great with potty training.Doing great with crate training.Good with dogs.Likes walks, but not great for hiking.Has not been exposed to children.Has not been exposed to cats.MORE ABOUT ME:Likes belly rubs.Likes walks.Likes playing with other dogs.BREED needs regular clippings to avoid matting.ONE LAST THING:Ollie is a social little guy who loves everyone. He was found on the streets with a broken pelvis and has been quite the trooper during his recovery, enduring long hours in his crate while he heals and gobbling his meds easily in wet food. Despite being on strict activity restrictions and frustrated from being in his kennel, Ollie is always friendly, affectionate, and ready to greet you with kisses. He is the cutest when he 'air swims' towards someone while being held. He will be so happy when he is allowed to run and play freely! He enjoys his brief potty breaks in the garden and is doing fabulously with potty training. Ollie gets along well with our resident dog and quickly learned behaviors from him like how to play with a toy, where to go potty, and how to sit for treats. He likes to cuddle up next to you on the sofa and take naps. He sleeps through the night in his crate as long as he gets to be in the room with you, and he does great with bathing and grooming, good boy! We think Ollie would thrive in a household with another dog since he is such a social guy. He really loves being around other dogs and even likes our chicken!Ollie does not like being crated and barks to let you know it. We learned keeping his crate in close proximity helps him settle and he has become more comfortable crated. Also, we only feed him in his crate, and he gets the best treats in his crate!June 12, 2025, 5:14 pm
