Meet Bertie! Bertie is the cutest cattle dog mix around! She was found as a stray in the country with no place to go. She was scooped up by an Saving Hope team member and brought to Saving Hope. Bertie is about 1 year old, crate trained, potty trained, spayed, up to date with all her vaccines and doing well on leash training. Bertie has your typical cattle dog energy and needs a job to keep her busy. She has completed 3 weeks in a board and train and comes with follow up lessons. She loves to run, plays with toys and wants to snuggle when it’s time to relax. She is working hard on commands like wait, place, leave it, etc… She is smart as a whip and learns fast. Bertie could easily be an only dog but also enjoys playmates. Would probably do best with older kids because she likes to “herd” the little ones. Overall, she’s the sweetest girl and would love to find an active companion to share her joy.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bertie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
