My story

Bruce Lee is a 4 year old male Beagle mix, who has a gentle soul and an irresistibly lovable nature. From the moment you meet him, it’s so easy to be drawn in by his sweet demeanor and quiet charm. Though a bit shy in his kennel, once he is out in the park, his playful, puppy-like spirit emerges, revealing a joyful and affectionate side that’s sure to win hearts. His eyes are another striking feature - one hazel, one vivid blue - which give him a unique and captivating look. Best of all, Bruce Lee is the gentlest of snugglers, happiest when he’s curled up beside you (or even nestled in your lap), soaking up attention and returning it with quiet devotion. He is polite and friendly with other dogs during walks and shows no reaction to the feral cats nearby, suggesting he may be cat-friendly too. While he may not share the martial arts skills of his famous namesake, this Bruce Lee brings peace, sweetness, and unwavering companionship. All he hopes for is a loving home with a cozy bed, kind humans, and plenty of cuddles. And in return, Bruce Lee will give you his love, loyalty, and complete gratitude.  The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.June 11, 2025, 11:50 pm
