Meet Lucy and Ethel — a sweet mother-daughter duo who are looking for a quiet, patient home where they can finally experience the love and stability they’ve never truly had. These two are a bonded pair and would do best adopted together, as they bring comfort and confidence to one another with their gentle companionship. Lucy, the mom, is approximately 2 years old and has blossomed into a friendly, affectionate girl who seeks out attention and enjoys gentle pets. Ethel, her daughter, is around 1 year old and more reserved, preferring to observe from a distance until she feels safe. While Ethel may take longer to warm up to new people, she’s never shown aggression—just a quiet, cautious nature shaped by her early life. They grew up together in a garage with outdoor access, receiving only minimal interaction with their previous owners. Despite this, both girls have shown sweet, kind-hearted personalities. They absolutely adore each other—often found cuddled up or grooming one another—and their bond is unbreakable. With time, both have even begun playing with toys and engaging more with their surroundings. Lucy and Ethel will thrive in a calm, loving home with someone who can offer them the time and space they need to fully come out of their shells. Read below for more information.All our cats are fostered in Texas but available for transport out of state. Our cats are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $450 for a bonded cat pair plus transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes age appropriate, vaccinations, registered microchip, testing for FIV and FELV, and a fecal analysis. Cats will be spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age. Cats will also be current on prevention. A health exam will be completed, and a certificate will be issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.Note: MNS reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care. ##2352228##
