My story

Dorothy is an amazing young tortie full of fun and love! She shows tremendous bravery by rubbing up on anyone she meets instantly and asking for pets. She loves being around people, including being held, pet, talked to, and any other way she can get attention. She is not an aloof cat, though she is happy to settle down during the day and get her naps in. When she isn’t resting, she is seeking out a lap to sit on, or a body to curl up with. Every morning, Dorothy loves to come over just as her foster mom wakes up and throw herself into her arms for cuddles, which makes the start to the day cuter, but harder to get out of bed! She will also follow her humans around constantly and can be very chatty when she wants attention or food! Besides being loving, she adores playtime and is big on zoomies-- she often races across the floor at a full gallop and loves to launch herself on furniture. Her favorite toys are ones she can bite and kick at, and she would be a great fit for someone who wants a more active cat to play with, despite her cute round body. All around, she’s a very playful sweetheart who will make a great companion for anyone looking for a cuddly friend. Dorothy is about 1 year old and healthy. She is spayed, tested FIV-/FeLV-, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready for a furrever home.
