My story

Max is an adorable 5 year old chihuahua mix who was unfortunately surrendered by his owners who could no longer take care of him. The poor thing is super confused and scared in the shelter. He was never able to go to the bathroom outside but he can definitely be potty trained. He knows how to sit well. He’s up to date on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and neutered already. He’s in kennel 317, his ID is 10789. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
