Name:  Nemo        Best Guess for Breed:  Wire haired terrier and chihuahua mix   Best Guess for Age:   2 years as of June 2025       SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:   9.8 lbs   Gets Along With:  Nemo does well with other dogs. We haven't seen him with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters. We do not recommend him for a home with children under the age of 12.    Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to come up here!   Nemo is Looking For:  This utterly adorable small scruff landed in the shelter due to no fault of his own. He's firmly closed that chapter and is looking forward to his new start! He's seeking humans who understand that the world is such a big place - and he is so small - and ensure he feels safe and comfortable. For that reason, a home with children (loud shrieks, unpredictable and fast movement) is not the right one for him.    He's looking forward to sniffy walks and exploring by his humans' side and lots and lots of cuddles. In exchange, he promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say?
