Teacup is adorable with his smudgy nose and four white paws! He is as sweet as he is cute. And that's saying a lot! Teacup and his brother, Teddie (108101), have feline cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which is a non-progressive, non-contagious neurological condition that causes balance issues. They are both wobbly but can play, eat, and use the litter box just fine! Teacup is more wobbly and less mobile than Teddie, so he has a cute stumble-walk that he uses to get wherever he wants to go, which is everywhere! This way of life is perfectly normal to them, and they are happy kittens! They are the perfect pair of kittens, and it would be most excellent if they were adopted together. Learn about Teddie here - https://bit.ly/3PznhqC Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet with charming, confident, and loving little Teacup! CH cats were born like this and usually wobble or have a funny gait; some cats have a minor imbalance and some are very wobbly. Cats with minor to moderate CH require no special care, or only minor accommodation, like avoiding stairs. Cats adopted from APA! with CH must be kept indoors only. CH cats have the same lifespan as other cats. For more information, please visit: lifewithchcats.com. All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team. For further information or to meet Teacup, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Teacup 10, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
