Nugget

My story

A28399 Nugget is a black and white colored, approximately 4-year-old, 8-pound, neutered male, Domestic Medium-Haired cat. He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 06-05-2025 due to the fact he cannot afford to have a pet. Nugget is a friendly, but timid and shy boy here at the shelter. He is still trying to figure out this shelter environment and why he is here. The noise and strangeness of it all scares him right now. He currently hides in the back of his kennel, but you can see his is curious and watching when people approach. Our staff describes him as a sweet, calm boy. Saying he is just scared and unsure right now. In the playroom he looked for that safe cubby to watch the room from. The previous owner says he is litterbox trained and has lived with other cats, but not dogs or children. We think he would do best in a nice quiet home with no small children to scare him. Once he is comfortable, we think you will have a loving companion. Nugget will be a loyal, loving family member in his new forever home.
