My story

Meet Osane! A joyful five-year-old English Bulldog/Labrador Retriever mix currently living in Carlsbad, CA, whose essence is a blend of sun-drenched cuddles and heartwarming loyalty wrapped in a sleek black coat with charming white accents. Osane is the very definition of a snuggle connoisseur. Whether you’re sitting on the couch, lounging in bed, or even just crouching to tie your shoe, she’ll find her way into your lap like a determined furry beanbag! Weighing in at 60 pounds, she might not quite fit the traditional lap-dog mold—but don’t tell her that! She’s a warm, wiggly shadow who brings cheer wherever she goes. Her personality is as big as her heart—confident, outgoing, and absolutely bursting with affection. Osane adores meeting new people and is especially gentle with children. She thrives on companionship, playtime, and a good old-fashioned belly rub (bonus points if you catch her rolling over the second your hand reaches her direction). She’s got a soft spot for sunny spots and can often be found sunbathing like she’s on a beach vacation. While she can be a little bossy with her canine roommates at home, she does great at the dog park, especially with smaller dogs, and enjoys a good game of chase. Tug-of-war is her jam, and soft chew toys are her go-to for some peaceful self-soothing. Osane knows her basic commands—sit, stay, down, shake—and is both house-trained and crate-trained. She's a smart cookie who responds wonderfully to treats and positive reinforcement. She would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, plenty of attention, and a family ready to return her endless affection. Osane prefers not to be left alone for long stretches but is calm for short periods and lights up the second you walk back through the door!
