My story

Cooper is a 5 year old Wheaton Terrier and a quirky little guy who has the training necessary to work through situations that make him uncomfortable. Overall, Cooper is a low key man who likes to go on walks and play with his ball. Even if you have a yard Cooper MUST have at least one walk a day. He loves working, so a little daily training session is a must, as well as a game of fetch with his favorite ball. He tires pretty quickly but making sure Cooper gets to do all of his favorite things help his overall behavior. Cooper is crate and potty trained, and an angel in the home. Coopers catch is that he does not make fast friends but when you are friends, Cooper is the most loyal Cooper that will ever exist. It is essential that he goes to a home where his owners understand he will take things slow. Cooper is muzzle trained for the vet and wears his muzzle a few times a week for daily walks to keep that training up and so we don`t associate it with only stressful situations. Cooper may do well with small dogs but ideally will go to a low key family with no dogs and no kids who want an easy companion. He will continue training until his forever comes around!Cooper is currently in a foster home, so if you`d like to meet him please copy and paste this short questionnaire into your web browser to complete and his foster will be in touch with you soon!https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc6hQoBrUuCYPiU8gCrCKdafq_E4uLyRyxP3_ltDG9Sur2bZg/viewform

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cooper (Adoption Ambassador), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
