My story

Meet Gemma - a gentle soul with a heart of gold. Gemma was found as a stray alongside another dog, and while the world may have been a little overwhelming at first, she’s learning that people can be pretty wonderful. This sweet girl can be a little shy when she first meets you, but it doesn’t take long for her to open up - especially if you take a moment to squat down and meet her at her level. Once she knows you`re a friend, she leans into every pet and cuddle and will scoot closer to you if you stop stroking her. She walks beautifully on a leash and is easy to handle, and would make a lovely, calm companion. In the play yard, she prefers to do her own thing and isn’t particularly interested in toys or treats - she’s more about connection than playtime. With her low-key, go-with-the-flow personality, Gemma would thrive in a quiet home where she can feel safe and loved. If you`re looking for a mellow, affectionate dog who just wants to be near her people, Gemma might be the perfect match.
