My story

Meet Nova! She is around 2.5 years old, utd on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and heartworm negative. She currently weighs around 43lbs, she could stand to gain a few more pounds. Even though Nova has been through a lot and is a bit shy and timid, she is blossoming into the lovable gentle soul she truly is. She is the ultimate cuddle bug who loves being under a blanket and will happily nap (snore) the day away while laying by your side. Even though she is still building her confidence she has made great progress and now enjoys going for a walk on a leash. She is almost house trained and coming along nicely on kennel training. Nova loves people and craves attention, though she is a little hesitant around men. She has been super sweet with all the adult she has met. She has not been observed around children. Nova is not a fan of cats and will need a cat free home. She has not been a fan of other dogs, but we believe with slow and proper introductions she could do well with another dog in the home. A secure fence is a must as she has been known to be a climber. She does enjoy sunbathing and relaxing outside. If you are looking for a low energy, loving companion who’s ready to spend her days curled up next to you, Nova might just be your perfect match. Blankets, naps, and belly rubs are her love language.
