Meet Edelle - A Striking Black Beauty with a Heart Ready to HealAt 3 ½ years old, Edelle is everything you'd expect in a classic German Shepherd - strong, intelligent, and breathtakingly beautiful in her solid black coat. But behind those soulful eyes lies a girl who's been through a tough time and is now on the road to recovery, thanks to some urgent medical care and lots of love.Because Edelle is still healing, she will be placed under a Foster-to-Adopt Agreement so we can continue supporting her medical journey while she settles into her forever home.Edelle is a solid, confident presence who turns heads wherever she goes - but let's be honest, she could benefit from shedding a few pounds. That's where you come in. This girl needs exercise - both physical and mental. Like any true Shepherd, Edelle thrives when she's working her brain and body. Puzzle games, structured walks, and a job to do? Yes, please!She is incredibly intelligent and willing, but her leash manners are a work in progress, so patience and consistency will be essential. She also displays some anxiety in her kennel, but once she's out and about, she's a total sweetheart with loads of potential.Because of her breed and current needs, we are only considering homes with previous German Shepherd experience. Edelle is not a dog for first-time owners - she's looking for someone who understands the unique quirks, energy, and loyalty of this remarkable breed.
