My story

Red is a sweet and spirited 3-year-old pup weighing in at 49 pounds of pure fun and affection. This playful boy is full of energy and always ready for an adventure! Whether it`s a game of fetch, a long walk, or some zoomies in the yard, Red is happiest when he`s on the move and spending time with his favorite humans. Red thrives on attention and would love a home where he can get lots of it—think cuddles, playtime, and mental enrichment to keep his clever mind busy. Red would do best with an active family who can match his enthusiasm for life and provide him with the exercise and stimulation he craves. This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! If you`d like to meet our available animals, please check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
