My story

**Meet Pesto**, the irresistibly fluffy orange tabby with the roundest little face and the biggest personality! This cheerful guy is a bundle of sunshine and fun, always ready to romp around with his siblings or chase after his favorite toy like it’s the most important mission of the day. He’s got a silly streak too—especially when he sticks his tongue out mid-pose like a goofy little lion cub. Pesto is super friendly and adores attention. Give him a few pets and you’ll be rewarded with instant purrs and maybe even a biscuit-making session. He’s a treat enthusiast (especially if it’s something soft and tasty!) and always happy to share snack time—as long as he gets the first lick. With his playful spirit and sweet, cuddly nature, Pesto is the perfect mix of mischief and love. He’s ready to spice up your life with some kitten cuteness! ----- The Pre-adoption process allows us to get the adoption process started early, even though vetting isn’t complete. Per the Department of Agriculture rules and regulations, The Kitten Rescue Project is responsible for vetting all of its kittens before adoption is final. At this time the kitten is not fully vetted because he/she is too young. We expect vetting will be completed around June 16th, but could be delayed a week longer if he/she does not meet the weight requirement by our vet. Once vetted, our kittens are dewormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. Our feline adoption fee is $120, which assists in offsetting but does not entirely cover the expenses incurred for the animal's care and completion of essential veterinary care. We do not place cats in homes based on the order of application received. Instead, we prioritize the earliest applications that are the best match for the kitten. We will prioritize applicants within a 2 hour drive of Atlanta, GA to help minimize the kitten's stress during transport. Our adoption process does not happen in a single day. Typically, it can take at least a week for applications to move from submission to adoption. We reserve the right to deny any applicant for any reason.
