My story

Jordan’s story is one of survival, strength, and sweetness. This brave boy came to us from Kentucky after a life marked by neglect and cruelty — he arrived at the shelter with facial injuries, missing nails, rotting teeth, and, heartbreakingly, a BB gun pellet lodged in his shoulder. Yes, someone actually shot him. But here's the part that will absolutely wreck your heart in the best way: Jordan still loves people. Deeply. He leans into affection, adores cuddles, gets along beautifully with other cats, dogs, kids...everyone! He loves to play with toys, and his biscuit-making skills? Michelin-star level. Despite the scars, Jordan is pure light. He reminds us why animals are the best part of this world — forgiving, trusting, and full of love even after being hurt. Jordan's looking for a home where he’ll be treasured like the angel he is. If you have room in your heart and your home, he’ll give you all the love he’s been saving up for the right family. Animal is Fostered in Burlington and able to go home on or after 6/29/25 For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines.  Dhpp, Rabies (if old enough)-dog;  CVR, Rabies (if old enough) - cat  - WE DO NOT ADMINISTER BORDETELLA unless indicated.   PLEASE NOTE- puppies and kittens may need to complete vaccination schedule depending on age at time of adoption.   Dewormed All breeds are best guess from veterinarian based on physical exam.  All animals come from high kill shelters with poor access to resources.  Once they arrive to our rescue they are quarantined for health purposes and spoiled in loving foster homes until their forever home is found!  Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   ##2407533##
