Meet Velvet — the 8-year-old Cane Corso who deserves to spend her golden years wrapped in love and comfort. After a life of being used for breeding, Velvet was discarded like yesterday’s news — underweight, struggling to move, and left at a shelter when she needed compassion the most. But despite everything she’s endured, Velvet’s spirit has never wavered. She’s incredibly sweet, lights up when she sees her people, and has the most endearing habit of “talking” to you when she’s excited. Loyal and affectionate, Velvet is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and will stick by your side through thick and thin. She’s great with dogs of all sizes and absolutely adores children. Velvet is not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is a must. X-rays showed no major joint damage, and since starting a high-quality supplement routine, Velvet is already showing huge improvements — she’s getting around better and becoming more active by the day. Velvet deserves so much more than what life has given her so far.
