My story

Milton is a 10-year 14-pound Spaniel Mix little man found as a stray. He needs to gain a pound or 2 so we are working on that, slow but sure. We did blood work on him and he had a dental having 4 teeth extracted. He had a few lumps, bumps and moles that got removed while he was under anesthesia as well. He is such a trooper, doing so very well after all this. We are so glad this little gentleman is now a part of the CAWS family so we can be sure to find him the best furever family and home to keep him safe and protected now for the rest of his life. Milton also has pretty bad arthritis so he is on a pill and shot to help with this pain. He gets along wonderfully with everyone in the foster home, big and small, male and female. He does not have a mean bone in his body. He cuddles with his 2-legged people some but mostly he just walks around then settles in a dog bed on the floor. He gives gentle kisses and hugs. He is does okay doing his business as long as he is let out on a regular basis. He is crated when his 2-legged people have to run errands but they work from home so he is not crated too often. Milton will require regular brushing and an occasional groom to keep his hair soft and beautiful. This little man is the most wonderful, precious, loving and sweet adorable dog ever. He radiates sheer delight and gentleness. He does not bark. This angel has utterly turned out to be a little gem, dang near perfect. Milton needs to go to a home with a yard so he can meander at his own pace and wonder to do his business and he won't be crated. He has to go to a home with older children or none. Milton just wants to find his furever family and to be safe for the rest of his life. If you are interested please reach out for a meet and greet. Milton will make the greatest most wonderful companion.Dogs are not placed on a first-come first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal, applications may take up to 48 hours to complete. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Milton's adoption fee is $100. If you are interested in adopting Milton, or another CAWS animal, please fill out an application here: http://caws.org/adoption-application. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationJune 14, 2025, 6:34 am
