My story

Tiny is a big personality in a small package. She was most likely born outside: I brought her in because she was malnourished and needed medical attention for two minor wounds, which have since healed. She was shy & scared when she first came inside, and still connects best with patient people who wait to let her come to you. She’s worth the wait, though: once she trusts you she loves pets and curling up next to her people on the couch or sleeping at the foot of your bed. In a few months indoors, she’s blossomed into a sweet, confident, happy indoor cat who likes head scratches and gentle pats, but not an overbearing amount of cuddles, although she’s still opening up and getting more affectionate every day. She loves stuffed toys and cardboard boxes, and can spend hours watching birds and squirrels out the window. She’s fearless and independent, enjoys company but is also fine doing her own thing. She's also curious and adventurous, exploring every corner to find her favorite spots to create a nest for that perfect afternoon nap! Tiny would do best in a home without other cats: I suspect some cat-related trauma from her time outside, but the reason I can’t keep her is that she does not get along with my older cat. I haven’t tested her with other animals or with kids: she’s still wary so young kids might not be the best fit, but she’s befriended every adult human she’s met. This sweet girl had a rough start in life and now she deserves to be the queen of someone’s loving home. Tiny Green is a year old and is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. Adoption fee: $100 (plus tax)

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tiny Green, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
