How this pet arrived: Elliot was brought in by his previous owner on June 8, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Elliot-a handsome, particular guy who knows exactly what he likes. He's independent, confident, and prefers affection on his terms. Forced snuggles? Hard pass. But if you let him take the lead, Elliot might just grace you with his presence (and maybe a head bump or two). Elliot has had cat and dog friends before and could enjoy the company of other respectful pets. He's also a pro at setting boundaries and needs people who will respect them, too. Young kids tend to be a little too handsy for his taste, so a calmer home will help him feel his best. Watch his body language-when he says he's done, he means it. Vet visits can be stressful, so we recommend chatting with your veterinarian ahead of time. Look for a Fear Free certified clinic or one experienced in low-stress handling. Baths? Absolute hard pass. No spa days, no grooming frills-Elliot is strictly a wash-and-wear kind of guy. When it's time to bring him home, a top-loading carrier is your best bet for a smooth and secure ride. Elliot's the kind of cat who thrives with time, space, and understanding-and in return, you'll get a cool, confident companion who marches to the beat of his own drum.
