My story

DOB: Nov. 5, 2023 Hi there! I'm Kit. My name comes from the Kit Fox—my foster mom said I looked just like one the day we met. I'm a curious and gentle boy, though a bit shy at first. I recently lost one of my eyes, but don't worry—I can still see well with the other. Once I’ve locked onto something, I don’t let it out of my sight! Sudden movements can startle me, so I may run and hide if things come at me too quickly. But once I feel safe and get to know you, I become playful, loving, and full of personality. I especially enjoy toys I can chase, jump for, and catch. Scratching posts are also a favorite—I like to keep my nails clean and tidy. I absolutely love food and get very excited at mealtime! I’ll often weave between your legs while you get it ready. At bedtime, I like to sleep nearby—usually at your feet or back—close enough for comfort, but not touching. I get along really well with other cats and would thrive in a two-cat household. I enjoy having a buddy to play with or just to follow around. I'd also do best in a calm, low-stress environment without too many loud noises, as I can get overwhelmed and need a quiet place to retreat. If you’re looking for a playful companion who’s a little shy at first but full of love and charm, I just might be your guy!
