My story

Taz is a 3-year-old bundle of joy who’s equal parts playful, snuggly, and silly. He’s doing great with house-training and has quickly learned the routine in his foster home. Crate-trained like a pro, Taz sleeps quietly through the night and only pipes up when the house starts to stir in the morning — and sometimes sneaks in a nap or two in his crate during the day! Taz adores playtime with his 2-year-old canine foster brother and is sweet and respectful with the senior dogs in the home. He’s also a big fan of his 5-year-old human foster sister and her friends — greeting them with wiggles and excitement. While he’s not exactly a lap dog, Taz loves being close by and snuggling up next to you. He’s a zoomie master and would love a fenced yard to run and play in, though it’s not a requirement. Taz is food-motivated (especially when cheese is involved!) and eager to please, making him a great candidate for training. He’s still learning some manners — like keeping his paws off the table and giving other pups their space during mealtime — but he’s very redirectable and clearly wants to do the right thing. Whether he’s bouncing around with playful bows, army crawling across the floor to get your attention, or snoozing in your office chair while you work, Taz is a goofy, loving little guy who brings smiles wherever he goes. He's friendly with everyone he meets and is ready to find a forever family who will laugh at his antics and love him to pieces. His minimum adoption fee is $400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
