My story

Introducing Busby! He was brought to the shelter on 6/6 because he was on a journey to find his way home and got lost. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. So now he is on a quick search to finding that forever home to keep him safe and sound so he never has to experience a shelter ever again. Busby is only 3 years old and weighs a mere 68lbs. The volunteers describe him as a big goofy boy who is sweet, cute, and obedient. He does the cutest zoomies when he is first outside and playful as well. He is a smart cookie as he knows to sit when asked. Even right after his zoomie session. Please take some time and visit with him in Run 55; his ID is 10650. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Please make sure when choosing a forever pup, that you have the space, time, patience, and lifestyle to ensure that Busby has the best upbringing possible. He deserves that so much. Busby is current on vaccines, will be neutered and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Busby is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to save his life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
