You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mavis came to the shelter as an owner surrender due to a huge change in her family's life. She is a 1-2 year old Jack Russell/mini Australian Shepherd mix. She's friendly, happy, and playful. We will need to get her vet checked and spayed soon and her fee is $150. Mavis lived in a home with children and other animals. She has had some basic training and is pretty well mannered. She is a young and active dog and will require regular, good exercise. She's a mixture of 2 very intelligent and active breeds so boredom is her nemesis. She's smaller but has a big personality! NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been submitted and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
