My story

Hi, I’m Bambi! I’m about 5 months old, and I’m just starting to figure out how awesome life can be! I didn’t get much human interaction during the first part of my life, so I can be a little shy and unsure when I meet new people or explore new places. But once I get comfortable, my sweet and curious side comes out and I promise, it’s worth the wait! One thing I do know for sure: I love other dogs! Big ones, little ones, I love them all. Being around other pups helps me feel safe, and I learn a lot from watching them. If you already have a dog, that would be a huge bonus for me! I might have a bit of herding dog in me, because I like to bark at and try to herd the cats in my foster home. I’m not trying to be rude I just can’t help it! If your cat doesn’t appreciate that kind of energy, it might not be the best match. I’m working really hard on potty training and learning my manners. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and when my foster family’s out of the house. I’m told I’m cute as can be (I mean, just look at me!), and once I trust you, I’ll be your very best friend for life. All I need is a little patience, a lot of love, and a cozy place to call home.
