My story

Our hearts hurt for Peaches! Her owners had her for 3 years and the land lord found out. Peaches arrived to the shelter on 6/13. She is 5 years old and weighs in at 60 pounds. She is a tripod and will need floors that are easy for her to navigate. She is a sweetheart. She knows to sit and lay down when asked. It is reported that she is good with children and dogs and is house trained. No cats please. This girl has a lot of love to give to a new family. Would you give Peaches a chance? Ask for ID# 10899 Run 829. She is spayed and micro-chipped. She has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
