When Doberman Underground rescued her from a shelter, she was in very rough shape—starved, weak, and covered in painful Demodex mange that had swollen her eyes shut and left her skin raw and inflamed. On top of that, she tested positive for heartworm. Her tiny, exhausted frame carried the weight of so much suffering. But through it all, Doli never gave up.  Today, thanks to months of nourishing food, gentle care, antibiotics, and the healing power of love, Doli is fully recovered and ready to start the next chapter of her life—with a family who sees her for the strong, beautiful soul she is. Doli is a classic “velcro" Doberman. The moment you reach out to pet her, no matter how busy or curious she is, she completely melts into your touch. She’s sweet, affectionate, and eager to bond with her people. She's great with dogs of all sizes and would enjoy a playful companion. Though she loves to stay active, she also has a sensitive side and can be fearful in new situations, so young children would not be a good fit for her.  Because of her history on the run, a physically fenced yard is a must to help her feel safe and secure as she continues to thrive. Doli has just completed her heartworm treatment and will be spayed before adoption. Now that she’s been given a second chance, Doli is eager to learn, eager to love, and more than ready to find a forever family with Doberman experience who will never let her down.
