My story

True to her name, Aphrodite is a vision of beauty and grace. This two-year-old stunner hails from Tennessee and turns heads everywhere she goes with her striking tricolor coat and enchanting mismatched eyes. At just over 40 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion—easy to walk, easy to cuddle, and impossible not to fall for. She carries a quiet, soulful presence that draws you in and makes you want to know her story. Aphrodite can be a little timid at first, but give her time, and you’ll watch her bloom. With patience, consistency, and a whole lot of love, this gentle girl begins to show glimpses of her playful spirit and affectionate side. She’s looking for a calm, reassuring home where she can settle in at her own pace and discover just how wonderful life can be. If you're the kind of person who sees the beauty in letting someone unfold in their own time, Aphrodite might just be your perfect match. This cutie resides at our Wantagh location and meetings are by appointment only. If you are interested in meeting them, you must click "Apply for Adoption" to submit an online application.
