My story

Cappy is a 67-pound brindle beauty with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He absolutely loves people and lights up when someone stops by his kennel, always eager for attention! Cappy enjoys short bursts of play and is a total softie during cuddle time, though he can get a little distracted by everything going on around him. He’s still learning how to manage his excitement, especially around other dogs, so we’re recommending he be your one-and-only pup. With a bit of structure and support, Cappy’s sure to make a loyal, loving companion. Come meet Cappy today!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
