My story

My name is Piper. I am a 3 year old Norfolk Terrier, female who is waiting patiently for my owners to come and reclaim me. My owners are aware I am in the shelter. Unfortunately, my owner does not have an emergency contact listed for the shelter to contact. Due to the situation, I am on a safe keeping hold and not available for adoption at this time. Shelter staff will update my information should there be a change to my status. In the meantime, if you recognize me, and have helpful information that will help RAC staff contact another family member to help me get home, please call the Rockwall Animal shelter at 972-771-7750 ext 2.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
