My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I'm an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing.I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.Keen tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.A volunteer writes: I think Keen hoped no one would notice him as he walked in and out of an apartment window, but he's kind of hard to miss with his fuzzy little ears and perpetual look of surprise. Someone, of course, did notice Keen going about his daily adventures and brought him to us where he's gone in the opposite direction by trying to make himself small. Tucked away in his cubby, we know that this kitten hasn't always had it so easy, but we also know how hard he's willing to try. Keen happily accepted every pet, leaning his fluffy cheek into my hand in appreciation and friendship. While shelter life isn't smooth for everyone and Keen has taken some time to come around, he's shown so much progress and we are excited to see all that he has to share.
